Who We Are

Patrick Henry Family Shelter provides emergency shelter for 9 large families (5+members) with children who have been referred by Fairfax County Coordinated Services Planning (CSP). The shelter offers a variety of programs for children including tutoring, therapeutic services, and weekend activities; programs for adults include alcohol and drug education, literacy training, job coaching, parenting classes and counseling services.



Average length of stay is approximately 90 days. Offers laundry facility and meals prepared by residents, with food provided by the shelter. Provides intensive case management.



Features the After Hours Family Crisis Center. Adult programs include financial literacy, parenting classes, resume writing, women's empowerment group, computer skills, and more.



Bus line: Metro. Convenient to subway stop.
