Who We Are

Vinson Hall Retirement Community is a LifePlan or a continuing care retirement community offering independent living, assisted living, nursing care, and memory-impaired assisted living. The community is supported by the Navy Marine Coast Guard Residence Foundation (NMCGRF). Open to commissioned military officers of all branches of service and their immediate family members.  Independent living residences are now open to GS-14 and above federal employees.



Individuals enjoy life at their own pace and schedule, like taking trips, pursuing educational opportunities and enjoying music, art, and entertainment.  Offers fitness programs, health services, and pastoral support.

Other Eligibility Criteria
Open to commissioned military officers of all branches of service and their immediate family members. Our Independent Living residences are now open to GS-14 and above federal employees from the Departments of State, Defense, Justice, Homeland Security, and Veterans Affairs. Former employees of the CIA and NASA with a GS-14 and above grade also qualify as well as Foreign Service class level 1, 2, or 3. Occasionally, special exceptions are made for individuals with a strong connection to our military or government.
