Who We Are

City Wheels is a City of Fairfax program that provides alternative transportation within the City, to the Vienna/Fairfax-GMU Metrorail station, to George Mason University, and to Fair Oaks Hospital for city residents who are disabled and find it difficult or impossible to use conventional bus service. City Wheels is a curb-to-curb (not a door-to-door) service provided through private taxicabs.

City Wheels participants must be pre-approved.  An application can be mailed or it is accessible on the website.  The fare is $3.20.  Ticket booklets can be purchased for $64 each. An order form can be found on the website.
