Emergency Services

Rockbridge Area Community Services (RACS) offers Emergency Services for adults, adolescents, or children experiencing a behavioral health crisis. Emergency Services can be reached by calling the 24 Hour Crisis Toll Free Hotline, at (855) 222-2046. Callers can expect to:

• speak directly with a clinician regarding any behavioral health crisis;

• receive crisis telephone intervention and develop the least restrictive plans for follow up which could include a combination of crisis phone interventions, face to face Emergency  Services evaluations, referrals to additional RACS or other community referrals for crisis stabilization.
