Who We Are
MobilityWorks works with VMI, a manufacturer of wheelchair-accessible vans. Together with the Paralyzed Veterans of America, and VMI, awareness is increased among disabled veterans regarding VA vehicle benefits. VA funding may be available in the form of a one-time auto allowance for the vehicle itself.
This program helps veterans get into their first wheelchair-accessible van. In lieu of an automobile allowance grant, a grant for adaptive automotive equipment for a wheelchair-accessible conversion on a vehicle may be available.
