The Community Housing Resource Center (CHRC) offers the Homeless Prevention and Rapid Rehousing Program. To participate in the program, applicants must:
- Meet the HUD definition of at-risk of homelessness or 'literally homeless."
- Have no other existing sources of support, financial resources or appropriate housing options.
- Meet the specific income and asset requirements.
- Cannot be residing in public housing or receiving a housing subsidy voucher.
- Cannot receive other housing assistance.
- Must have a legal lease with the landlord.
Some households may be required to pay part of the rent payment.
