Who We Are
Bliley Manor is a model supportive housing facility that provides 8 low-income persons with traumatic brain injury (TBI) with affordable, accessible housing and support services, allowing them to achieve maximum levels of independence.
Support services are available to empower tenants to become more independent and healthy by accessing community resources for basic human needs, re-learning certain skills, and participating in educational activities, or gaining employment. Bliley Manor is designed to accommodate eight tenants and one resident manager.
Tenants are referred from agencies serving the TBI population or they can be self-referring and pay 30% of their income. The remaining rent is subsidized by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and Section 811 Program. Bliley Manor is supported in part by state general funds administered by the Department of Aging and Rehabilitative Services.
Anyone can apply, regardless of where they are currently living.
Other eligibility: No violent or drug-related felony convictions in the last 5 years Not on any sex offender registries No past amount due to the housing authority Ability to live independently with minimum supervision No current history substance or alcohol abuse No violent or aggressive behavior
