Who We Are

Supportive Services for Veteran Families promotes housing stability among very low-income veteran families who reside in or are transitioning to permanent housing.   •  Veterans who enlisted September 7, 1980, or earlier;
  •   Veterans who entered active duty October 16, 1981, or earlier;
  •    Veterans who were discharged for a disability incurred or aggravated in the line of duty;
  •    Veterans who were discharged for an “early out” or hardship.
  • Household is homeless or at risk of homelessness and looking to maintain permanent housing:

        1. Has no secondary residence or other resources;

        2. For households seeking prevention assistance, the family must score at or above the threshold on the “SSVF Homelessness Prevention Grantee Screening Criteria and Targeting Threshold Plan”.
