Who We Are

The Roanoke location of Cardinal Senior Communities (formerly Enlivant) is a non-medical residential setting that provides or coordinates personal and health care services, 24-hour supervision, and assistance for the care of adults who are aged, infirm, or disabled. Assistance with at least two activities of daily living is provided.  Daily living tasks may include assistance with meal preparation, housekeeping, medication management, bathing, dressing, and more.



Non-ambulatory care is provided to residents who because of physical or mental impairment are not capable of self-preservation without the assistance of another person.



The staff helps residents to maximize their independence and to live their life to the fullest in an environment that provides support on a personalized basis. Transportation is available to social, recreation, and medical appointments; meals on-site; hairstylist/barber on-site, support groups. Medical adviser-geriatric MD is also available. Residents receive assistance with many activities of daily living such as bathing and dressing; helping with ambulatory difficulties and assistance with incontinence; dietary guidance and preparation of delicious balanced meals. Provides housekeeping, round-the-clock emergency call response, active social, cultural, and educational programs and activities, local shopping, and transportation.
