Habitat for Heroes, Home Ownership Program

Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity offers veterans the Habitat for Heroes program.  Individuals who have served in the military and were generally or honorably discharged may qualify for the Habitat for Heroes program.  Individuals who qualify for this program receive an affordable mortgage and they will also receive a 25% discount in forgivable financing off the appraised value of the home and a reduction in the amount of sweat equity hours required. Only 200 hours verses 350 for the regular program.
